Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll put your feet up and stay for awhile. This is, after all, a place for friends to gather.
Ever since I can remember holding a pen, I remember writing. Words are my constant companion, my solace, my connection to humanity. I write because I must, but I also write to share a common experience. If one of my sentences makes you feel like you are not alone in this wide world, then I have done my job. We have so much to share as human beings, don’t we? Thank you for letting me share my words.
Now pour a glass of Cabernet and enjoy!
For those of you who are new, please let me introduce myself. I have been married to the love of my life for 17 years, by his side for 23. Chris and I are the parents of four very fun, unique, and vibrant kids we like to call Sam, Gus, Mary Claire, and George. Add our canine companions, Maggie and Lucy, to the mix, and life around here pretty much resembles a three-ring circus. We have a wide and beloved circle of friends and family and believe very strongly in unconditional love, abiding trust, heartfelt conversation, unfettered laughter, abundant social drinking, dancing with reckless abandon, and spicing things up with a bit of profanity as necessary.
